The 4(four) Kindred of Umuebi has its governing body called “Aladinma” with the Executives of the Kindred Aladinma forming the Village Aladinma which holds weekly meetings called “Mmanya Orie”
Land cases, complaints between one and another are settled and they see to the welfare of our people. They are the custodian of the people’s Customs, Traditions and Cultures.
Umuebi Federated Union is the Apex Governing Body in Umuebi Village with branches in all known towns where indigenes of Umuebi resides for their businesses and professional career such as the Lagos Branch, Aba Branch, and Port-Harcourt Branch etcetera.
Umuebi Federated Union oversees the development of projects in the Village. All unions, societies and Age grade groups are all members of Umuebi Federated, such as “Ndi Opara”, Umuebi Peoples League, and all branches of the union spread across the country and beyond. Umuebi Federated holds its general meetings in December during Christmas season, during Easter period and in August during “Iri-ji Mbaise”. All registered societies and Union with the Federated will send their delegates to represent them.
The women’s wing of the Federation (Married women) is called “Odokanma Federated” which has similar structures and have their annual famous meeting which they return en-mass called “August Meeting”
